Harmonists in German
Kenneth Turan, film critic for the L.A. Times, said that the audience will be
pleasantly surprised "how charming and infectious the sounds it features
turn out to be." Set in Germany between 1927 and 1934. If this group had
not been forced to break up, "they would have been more famous than the Beatles."
Their stardom blinds them to the consequences of the changing political situations.
